Aalo Atomics is developing an advanced fast reactor and was selected for the DOE reactor pilot programme targeting criticality demonstration at Idaho National Laboratory by July 4, 2026. The company completed its Critical Test Reactor assembly at INL and has also secured a Texas site for 30 commercial microreactors. Aalo operates a 145,000 sq-ft hardware development facility in Torrance, California and has completed its Conceptual Design Review and Nuclear Safety Design Agreement milestones.
