Blykalla is developing SEALER — a 55 MWe passively safe lead-cooled fast reactor based on more than 25 years of research at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. The OECD NEA's annual SMR dashboard identifies Blykalla as having the most mature advanced reactor concept in Europe. Blykalla raised $50 million in December 2025 co-led by Oklo, Norrsken Launcher, and Armada Investment. In September 2025 Oklo committed $5 million to co-lead the round and the two companies signed a Joint Technology Development Agreement. Blykalla broke ground on a non-nuclear testing site at Oskarshamn in February 2025 and received €15 million EU EIC Accelerator equity plus €2.5 million grant. Industrial partners include Uniper, KSB, and ABB.
