Cristal Union Group is one of France's largest sugar groups and the industrial customer for Jimmy Energy's first SMR deployment at Bazancourt. The Bazancourt industrial complex processes sugar beet and has significant heat and power requirements that Jimmy's SMR would supply. As an energy-intensive industrial cooperative, Cristal Union has a direct commercial incentive to secure reliable carbon-free process heat. The Jimmy-Cristal Union partnership is the clearest example of direct industrial SMR procurement in Europe.
