Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station is an 894 MW pressurised water reactor in Oak Harbor, Ottawa County, Ohio operated by Vistra Energy. Meta signed a 20-year PPA for 908 MW of operating power plus 80 MW of uprate capacity from Davis-Besse as part of the January 9, 2026 announcement. Davis-Besse has had a complex operating history including a famous vessel head degradation incident in 2002 but has operated reliably under FirstEnergy and then Vistra ownership.
