Energy Northwest is a public power agency owned by Washington state and municipal utilities and the site partner for Amazon and X-energy's Cascade Advanced Energy Facility — the flagship 320 MWe (4-unit) Xe-100 deployment in Richland, Washington. Energy Northwest operates the Columbia Generating Station, the only commercial nuclear plant in the Pacific Northwest. The agency brings decades of nuclear operational expertise and existing grid infrastructure to the Cascade project.
