Framatome is one of the world's leading nuclear technology suppliers, manufacturing reactor components, fuel assemblies, and providing instrumentation and control systems. In early 2026 Framatome expanded its partnership with NuScale Power to qualify its Richland, Washington plant for production of NuScale's NuFUEL-HTP2 fuel, targeting at least 444 assemblies for NuScale's first US customer by 2030. Framatome's European fuel fabrication facilities are also being brought into the NuScale fuel supply chain.
