Samsung C&T is the construction and engineering arm of Samsung Group and invested $70 million in NuScale Power. The company signed an MOU with NuScale, GS Energy, and Doosan Enerbility on April 26 to cooperate in building and operating NuScale SMR plants in Asia. Samsung C&T brings world-class EPC capability to the NuScale Korean consortium. South Korea has discussed including NuScale's Tennessee programme in its $200 billion US investment package under a bilateral trade agreement.
