RoPower Nuclear is the Romanian project company jointly owned by Nuclearelectrica (50%) and Nova Power & Gas (50%) established to deploy the NuScale VOYGR-6 SMR at Doicești, Romania. The company received the Final Investment Decision approval from shareholders in February 2026 — making it the first European SMR project to achieve FID. RoPower is now in the pre-EPC phase targeting a Class 2 budget estimate and financing structure for the $6-7 billion project.
