Videberg Kraft AB is a Swedish project company developing new nuclear generation on the Värö Peninsula near Ringhals, with a stated target of approximately 1,500 MW of fossil-free capacity. It selected three Rolls-Royce SMR modular pressurized-water reactors, rated at 470 MW each, and started detailed project planning; first operation is targeted no earlier than the mid-2030s. Its latest material development was the 2026-06-25 agreement for the Swedish state to acquire 60% of the company from Vattenfall, with Vattenfall and Industrikraft each retaining or holding 20% and the ownership structure planned to take effect in 2027.
