Amazon is a US technology company, including Amazon Web Services, that is contracting for advanced nuclear power to supply its data centres. It has a collaboration with X-energy to deploy 5 GW of new nuclear power by 2039, starting with Energy Northwest's Cascade project in Washington, and is a partner in the X-energy and American Electric Power SMR project in Sullivan County, Indiana. It also has a nuclear power purchase agreement tied to the Talen Susquehanna plant.
